    Hi everyone!

After 3 month of intense reading i have become addicted to this nice forum.

And after fighting an urge to go from ABG to electric
for well....maybe 6 years. I finally got myself a small combo. A Laney RBW 100. Shortly after i bought a used Yamaha Attitude Standard 5. But wasn´t happy with it. Didn´t like the sound, to heavy ect. I assume that it´s something we all go through before you settle down for a moment.
Then suddenly! Off we go again...jadajada!

Well the happy ending to the story is that i have fallen in love with a MIJ J-bass 1975 Style. In absolute mint contition. I got it for 550$. A new set of DR string´s and i was flying.

So next thing on my shoppinglist is:

    1 Yamaha TRB5 FL
    1 Ampeg B3
And a couple of nice effects!

So better get back to work ;)

Yes! i certanly left a good feeling in my stomach.
The contender were a new silversparkle OLP. Really nice bass, but you can´t have them all.
The good thing with my J-bass were that it made the amp. sing. Which indeed was a relief. With the Yamaha the sound was too much tremble an less mid and less growl. And a started to have my doubts. But i am still a huge Yamahafan!

Oh, that's a beautiful Jazz Bass. I really like those particular ones. The ash body looks so nice and I remember being a kid in the 70s lusting after that very bass in the Fender catalogs. :)

Dude, not even one full wind around the E-string tuner? I usually go at least two. May want to change strings. I love and recommend Fender Nickel "Super Bass" strings.

Is that a Flexy Rack I see?

Outch! I know! Huge misstake when restringing the E. Way to short! Well well!

And yes that´s a TNT-flexy Assembled last summer.
    Great stuff!

And the poor cat...he´s under a spell!! He´s stoned!
Don´t miss his legs ;) And i will not kiss him. He will tear my amp and speakers apart,
