I picked this first gen SB-1 up from a local TBer I had done business with before. It's a cool axe, but I have my eye on another toy (surprise, surprise), so I thought I'd see if I can move this along to a fellow G&L fan.

This SB-1 is a nice middle weight, plays great, and looks good. She has 3 circle marks in the finish in the back. I have no idea what caused them, but you can't see them when playing and they aren't too awful bad. On the plus side, the headstock and neck have fantastic light birdseye figuring all throughout. Strung with flats with low action.

No flash for this one pic - this is closest to the color....

    Flash for these two....

I hate blurry pix...but even then you can see the birdseye.
    file-5.
    Nice figuring
    file-4.
    Crop circles?
    file-3.

    That's a cool bass!

  5. Black wrinkle hardware in great shape, ultra rare "radio knobs", and looks like the neck has "bird's eye".

    What's not to love?
