Those prices on Corvettes and Streamers looked oddly cheap.. Until I noticed that the topic actually said RockBass by Warwick! That was right after I noticed the bridge was similar than on Streamer STD and went "What the...".

This one's from German Webstore called Musik Productiv.
    It can be found at

Going price for this one was about €520.

  2. Well. In my opinion it looks really cheap. I'm glad they havent put the little "W" at the top. I'd be interested to compare it with a Corvette Std. Do I see four controls? tell me its not active.

  3. It so happens to be that i'm visiting this store ( Musik produktiv ) next saturday.. checking out speakercabs...

Expect a full review on the rockbass, including photo's this saturday ! :D
  4. It looks "O" "K" to me... but that is about it... something to do with such a glossy finish on a warwick puts me off.... Anyone else??
  5. Sandpaper + oil + polish cloth can fix that :)

Coming from a person who doesn't like Warwicks, I honestly have to say that that is the best looking Warwick that I have ever seen.

    I agree w/EString, It's a nice looking bass. What does €520 translate to $US?

    €520 = $480 (about)

Yep, It´s nice... Is it avaible in fretless? At musik produktiv they don´t seem to have fretless models...

Ponder, four pots.. Both pups might have independent tone-pots then. I don't think there would be active preamp in it. Not very cost-effective.

not that cheap... i thought that these basses were meant to be very cheap. at that price quality is no more an issue nowadays. i hope for warwick that those basses are good players!
  13. Hey.. for a warwick.. it's cheap, 'kay ?

The 'stock should read: "Rockbass by Warwick"
  15. Still dont like it. I feel my Warwick has been cheapened by its existence.

  16. Actually... Warwick does offer High Gloss Finishes, just they aren't seen that much.

It's true... I have it on good authority Standard & Poor has just issued a notice that DrMike's Warwick has now been officially cheapened ;)
