First Tobias Custom Shop Bass

    The inlay is amazing but doesn't fit the bass IMO.

    Geez, who cares if it's the first Gibson custom-shop built? :) I'd take any of the MTD or Tobias Signature models that Michael himself built over that.

    Yep. See the number below that? Is that the 'real' serial number? If it is, that is the 4,916th bass made after production was shifted to Nashville.

    That bass may have listed for $6000+ new, but there is no way that it is worth $15K. Not even close.

    You would think that a guy taking pictures of a $15,000 bass could keep his tummy out of the photo!!!

    not to mention the fact that lane poor pickups weren't around when the "tobias custom shop" first started - those pickups aren't even original.
