Anybody know of a good 5-string with a decent spacing at the nut? I'm looking for one with pretty much the same spacing as a P-Bass. Most of the ones I've seen are too narrow- Lakland, Zon, Ken Smith, etc.. How would anybody rate the Warmoth Wide 5? Any advice is welcome.

If you have the $$$, check into a Modulus 5-wide. They have 5 strings spaced-out on a 6-string sized neck.

I have seen some of the warwicks in stores but none lefty. Do they make leftys? Modulus. I have seen them in magizines but nothing in the tangable realm. I will check them both out.

    Pre EB,

I had this same question just last week... check out this thread:Modulus Q5 with "wide" or not?
(I'm used to the "standard" 19mm string spacing of a p-bass.)

Thanks for the advice. I did see a Modulus at a guitar show and it looked close to what I'm after. I didn't even play the others.
