My imaginary friend uses that app and likes it a lot.

I have to close the app and reopen it after it's been running to get it to properly work very often. Images also will not load 75% of the time.

 

I just forget the app and go right to the website.

To me apps are great if you want off-line content. That's cool I guess. But I would rather have the same look and feel of websites whether I am on a computer or phone. Why learn two different ways to navigate a site? Why deal with two different sets of short-comings? Plus, all the purported issues app users report...I'll just surf the web as usual. And, I know there aren't many of us that share this perspective.

 

You could always log on from a computer.

The thing about ultimatums like this is that the party making them actually has to have something of value to the person they are making demands to. I don't think that applies here. Don't like the app? Use your browser. I didn't even know there was an app.

Any site is about the content itself.
Thats why people come to TB in the first place 'the content'.

I'll be honest I'm not a fan of the app as well, but I just don't use it, use it browser mode.

To the OP: So you're saying you intend to quit driving cars because you have chosen to drive on rutted dirt roads instead of the paved highways the rest of us are enjoying, and you dislike the experience?

No you did not attack anyone.

But think of this.

When you see the following.

"fix the TB app or I am done with TB." in bold print what do you expect folks to think.

A little bit of finesse goes a long way. Maybe email the mods, let them know what your using for device, describe various issues in descriptive clear manner (without saying it sucks...That tends not to get you to far). Maybe asking is there an update due to come out that addresses this issues, ect.

Its like telling the state trooper that just pulled you over to "Go sh!t in a hat and that they technically serve You....ect". See where that gets You.

I'm saying this to be positive I'm not against you. If your serious about the instrument then and you leaving "or not returning to the site" would be doing a bit of disservice to yourself (unless you put that time into practicing instead) then by all means "be done with it".
