and i was thinkin about changin the pickups, its got a p / j setup right now, i was hoppin for maybe somethin with a nice lows and mids, also, since it has p / j setup does that mean that is the only setup i can go with? is there a way i can maybe humbucker or soapbar type pickups?
  2. Check out www.seymourduncan.com when you get in the site, have a look at the bass bit and click on the specs of any pickup you like the look of. Have fun!!

IMO bartolini would be the way to go if growly low/mid range is what you like. The duncans are awesome pu's, but they can be a bit scooped sounding.

You might be able to route 'em out for soapbars...guess it would just depend.
