I modified the settings on my amp so I can actually hear myself now (boost the mids, lower the rest, instead of the other way around)

But at the volume we play, the "limit" LED on my amp (Crate 220) flashes slightly when I play.

Am I in danger of blowing it up or does it have to be solid before any real damage occurs?

    Thanks

if it just flashes occasionally it shouldnt be a problem at all but it sounds like your pretty tapped out on power. Might need a new head or more cabinets soon.

Blinking slightly is fine. That's actually where you want it. Steady on and never shutting off probably won't hurt it but it'll distort.
