Flats for DGCF tuning?

Discussion in 'Strings [BG]' started by NoobOnRoad, Mar 9, 2010.

  1. I was wondering what flats would do well for tuning in D standard but keep some tension on a Short scale instrument?

Easy answer: Very heavy gauge ones. Try a LaBella Jamerson set.

+1 on the heavy gauges and High tension flats like Rotos, Fenders or Chromes.
