Flatsawn Fingerboard ?

Discussion in 'Luthier's Corner' started by geddyfan, Feb 5, 2014.

  1. Ok i've never done this before but will flatsawn purpleheart be a bad choice for a fingerboard. I usually use 1/4 sawn or close to it so I'm not sure what this will do. Any help would be appreciated.

There is no reason it wouldn't be just fine.
