Does anybody know who makes flatwound strings with green silk at the ends?

I have seen blue and red but not green...

How can you tell what color are the silk threads? I don't see it mentioned on the description, looking at amazon listings...

Mine too. They're still great strings after 2 years.

Yup, Fender 9050's. Love mine, the"SL" special light set. They're supposedly only DAddario Chromes with different silk. I have Chromes here too and somehow the Fenders seem different unless my mind is playing tricks. (possible) ...

Yup, fender. I'd say they're similar to chromes, but I think they feel different. Could be just my mind too
  11. I believe Hofner flats are green on both ends.

They do feel different, almost smoother (if that's possible), and develop a different "grey patina" over time than the chromes, and are not as taut feeling... I use both side by side on my two J's...love them both. I love the top end on the chromes a bit more...a tad more vibrant, but love the feel of the Fenders more, fine sounding in their own right.

True, though Hofner OEM strings are made by Pyramid.
