    does anyone know what kind of bass Rob Wynia of Floater uses? he has about the best tone i've ever heard.

    ok, maybe i went too fast, let's try something easier. has anyone even heard of floater?

    Floater is a Portland, Oregon band that, I think, has been around for awhile. I'm not sure what the bass player uses but I'm pretty sure you can access their website through: www.pomn.com

    I love Floater, seen them 7 times and met them once in Seattle after a show. Nice guys, Rob Wynia is a big influence on me as a bass playing singer. When I've been sober enough to pay attention I've seen him rocking a Carvin 4 string.
