Join us for our clinic on rhythm and improvisation with Lincoln Goines! A mainstay of the New York City jazz / Latin / studio scene, Lincoln has recorded and performed with an extensive list of artists including Sonny Rollins, Gato Barbieri, Dave Grusin, Carly Simon, Paquito D’Rivera, Michel Camilo, Eliane Elias, Michael Brecker, Bob Mintzer, Dave Samuels, Mike Stern, and Wayne Krantz. He is an Associate Professor of Bass at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, a member of faculty at the Bass Collective in New York City, and co-author of the best selling book/DVD Funkifying the Clave: Afro-Cuban Grooves for Bass and Drums (Alfred Music). In our latest clinic, Lincoln will discuss the language of rhythm and how to develop your improvisation repertoire, demonstrated on his signature Imperial 5 Elite. The shop will open at 6pm where you’ll be able to demo our latest models, chat with the Fodera team, and have a chance to meet Lincoln. The clinic starts promptly at 7pm.
