I'm offering up my custom build V. Fodera and the team delivered to me a year ago. The only reason is I need the cash for an unforeseen expense. We have to move out of our place and find a new one immediately. With the housing shortage due to the flood here in Houston the demand has caused the market to raise. With that, I have decided to sell this amazing bass which I DO NOT WANT TO DO.

    Camatillo Imperial MG 5 Elite

This MG-shaped Imperial 5-string was built for a direct customer (ME) in the U.S. and features a Chambered Walnut body, Alder tone block, and Ebony fingerboard. Tonally this bass is warm and punchy, with a deep, fat low end and clear, bell-like highs.

This instrument also features a remarkable Camatillo solid top with intricate figure and sapwood!

    • 34" Scale Length
    • 5 String Configuration (19.0mm Spacing)
    • 24 Frets (large frets)

To have Fodera build one to these with the same specs would cost you nearly $12,500 plus shipping. Instant gratification and a substantial discount on what is very much a brand-new Fodera! $10,700 Shipped/Insured within the lower 48. Willing to meet for a local deal. NO TRADES please. Paypal ok.

OHSC (also as new) and Tools will all be included, as well as the signed Certificate of Authenticity from the partners.

    Hey brandinstroy,

Nice bass! I believe that would be considered a "non-solid top." Not solid. How much does she weigh? Also did you order with a thin/fast neck or standard profile?

I pulled the text from their site.

As far as weight it’s just under 10lbs. Neck is between the thin/fast and the standard.

    Thanks for asking

It does appear to have a bit of sapwood on the edges of the Camarillo top but most of the middle appears to be the alder tone block.

    Sweet.

I actually prefer non-solid tops — love that the bridge anchors to the neck directly — less compressed sounding to my ears. (Not to mention it’s visually obvious that it’s non-solid... unlike the chestnut elite in my avatar (also non-solid).)

Yes it is a non-solid top. Fix the original post to reflect that.
