It's made by Franklin Iron Works. I'm using dimmable LED Edison bulbs in that lamp. I like their designs. Have a few of them in different designs.

I Support the following: Fodera, Noble Amps, JHAudio, Trickfish Amplification
I could use something like that. Thanks for the info!

90-degree outdoor lake party gig tomorrow with the potential for drunks, kids, and general chaos... better to bring one's beloved Fodera (which one wouldn't mind taking the odd ding so long as it's not legitimately jacked up) or one's backup (to which one is not particularly attached & would prob want to move at some point to build funds for one's next Fodera lol)?

I guess it's pretty pointless to have a "backup" that you're more nervous about than the bass you see yourself playing forever.

Have any of you seen Matt Garrison's post about losing his bass on a flight?

These pics scare the hell out of me. I hope they found his bass in good shape!

I suspect that here "lost" means stolen.

I love your new Monarch congrats and the Kennneth Lawrence ain't too shabby either:D Ken is the only luthier to create a single cut design that rivals Fodera in beauty IMO. Kenneth called Vinny and asked permission to build his own version of a SC that speaks volumes about the kind of person Ken is!

I didn't know that about Ken, but I'm not surprised. I've known him now for over 10 years and he has always been outstanding to work with. The 3 KL basses that I have - 2 are SC - are among the best instruments I've had the privilege to play.

I owned a KL Chamberbrase II I waited 18 months for it, old growth Brazilian board and a Brazilian top the sound was incredible ! I ordered a 33 scale and could not get used to the shorter scale and traded the Chamberbrase for the Fodera in my Avatar that hopefully is my lifer bass. I would love to order another Chamberbrase II this time in a 34 scale, but it won't happen anytime soon.

Ken is a class act and a truly world class luthier. I’ve owned three and each was amazing. If they weren’t 35” scale lengths, they would all still be with me.

I would love to hear those Basses built with 3 pickups.

I’ve been curious about doing a monarch with a JPJ setup. Hmmm...

okay. my 3-pickup foderas are a little odd in that they:

    1 are headless
    2 have different pickup placement
3 use custom-wound musicman style pickups
    4 passive

lemme see if i can find some sound files that won’t annoy you.
