the description says it’s a noses graphite neck. it would be interesting to know how that came about. my guess is that it’s a one-off they did for someone or that it’s a replacement neck.

I remember those. They made several with graphite necks. I didn't know they were Moses necks but it makes sense as they sort of popular back then.

I agree. It wasn't that those NYC basses were bad, they just weren't Fodera's in any way. I think it's a good thing a brand such as Fodera does not go offshore for a "budget" model. It's much better they do everything in house now.

  6. Do any of you 33 scale players use a guitar gigbag for your Fodera bass?

using a mono guitar bag for my headless 6 (34-inch scale).

i think it would be too small for your needs.

Yeah, I've seen it, nothing pleasing to me either

I'd like to see a beautiful Custom one, with a beautiful carbon neck :) But as with everything, you need an artist to be behind something like that, a signature bass.. for it to sell, that's just how things are..

there’s some talk about an idea I have. Nothing set in stone but close.

you are correct. There’s also some other exciting things coming that I witnessed, but I can’t say a word. I’d like to stay on Joeys good side. :D

I hope to visit the shop someday. If major Fodera GAS strikes again this time I will go to the Mecca to pick out a top and fingerboard. That has to be the best feeling going through Fodera's stash and finding that top that speaks to you!

It really is the best feeling. My wife likens it to walking through the quarry to pick the stone for your counter top.
