    Seems to be an ash body according to the build sheet

    The photos sure doesn't say "Ash" - looks like the seller is right.

    It is really mahogany body. If you see the build sheet, at the very top it says Mahogany but the description below the pics says it is ash. This is a typo on the Fodera page.


    Nevertheless, it is a beaufitul Fodera.

    Definitely a beauty and as a wood worker I can tell you the body is definitely not ash, and looks like a gorgeous piece of mohogany.

    Fodera comes up with amazing woods. I love that they pick out tone woods. I spent a day with a Spanish Luthier in Barcelona and he showed me his special caches of some woods that were hundreds of years old. When you tapped them you could hear the wood sing. Anyone who thinks the woods of electric instrument don't matter has severe hearing loss.
