Wow, that's gotta be a nice bass judging by the trade you made. Hey, you got money, more power to ya! ;)

Really sweet looking bass, slightly understated but definately opulent.

I haven't seen many Monarch 6'ers, let alone fretless with a walnut top!

  4. I love the top. I'm sure it's STUNNING in real life.

Those PUP covers are a very nice touch ... I love that sweeping figure on the walnut!

    Congrats on a beautiful bass

Cool. The 36 inch scale doesn't bother you?

I've been playing 35 scale for a while, and addig another inch is no problem. I don't have real big hands, but with almost an almost wafer thin neck, not a problem at all.

Interesting. That's a really nice bass, I've seen several pictures of it. Enjoy it!

Was that one of the reasons you sold your old Fodera fretless six? I've found it's not difficult to go up in scale length on a fretted, but it makes much more of a difference on fretless where you have far less leeway in finger placement than on a fretted.

Just a little insight of why I traded the three basses for the Fodera.

    1) I had to many basses, and wanted to thin the hurd.
    2) I've always wanted a Fodera, but always settled for something else because I was not able to afford a Fodera.
    3) Both Lakland and Roscoe had the Barts, which I grew tired of.
    4) The Warwick was not being played enough, and decided to sell or trade.

When finally the Fodera of my dreams showed up. It is only 5 months old, and in brand new condition. When I first offered the guy the trade offer, he turned it down. Then he contacted weeks latter, reconsidered. I'm very very pleased of the out come.

  14. SWEEEET bass. I love the way the pickup covers matches the wood on the top piece.

I actually sold it at the time cuz I needed money. I sold it to boogiebass, then bought it back and had to sell it like a week or two later because I got to the point where I Just had to move out on my own. So I needed the money back. That bass was beyond incredible though.

I'm thinking of moving to 34 inch scale though since I play E-C. Of course that would mean I'd have to sell the beez. :meh:

  16. Wow! Congrats! Glad to see that bass went to a TB'er. It floored me the first time I saw it. It has to have tone dreams are made of.

I would love to try a Fodera. Not too many in this part of the world out there that I know of. If any South Western Ontario TBers have a Fodera and want to meet that would be cool. Although it would probably be bad in that i'd like the bass too much.

  18. That bass is looking crazy!
