Fodera Imperial Matt Garrison 6

    I have just received my (first) Fodera Imperial Matt Garrison 6.


    -Medium-light ash wings
    -Alder center block
    -Buckeye burl top
    -3 piece maple neck
    -Birdseye maple fingerboard
    -35 in. scale
    -24 frets
    -Aero pickups, Fodera-Pope preamp
    -Black Hardware, extended B.

    Congrats on your new bass.

    I'm sure that it sounds great, but I don't think that I like the way it looks.

    i dont i've ever seen a buckeye top that i actually liked until i saw your bass. looks soo 3D. and the flamed maple pickup covers are an especially nice touch.

    just pure sweetness... :cool:

    You know - looking at the back of the bass, and the stuff on the floor -- there are some color palette problems in your pictures. Does the front of the bass really look like it does in the picture?

    I had a few problems with the pic size and lost some quality but the colour of the top is very similar to the real thing. The medium-light ash gives it a little bit of a more agressive attack as well as a little bit of "air" and openess in the sound, great for slap for example, although you can dial very different tones with the preamp and can be made to sound very smooth and sweet.
