I really hate to do this, but arthritis issues are causing me to have to liquidate my 34” scale basses in exchange for shorter scale basses...so I am starting with this one.

For sale here is a wonderful playing Monarch Deluxe with the dovetail neck joint and a phenomenal looking Buckeye Burl top and matching headstock overlay. This is essentially a Victor Wooten Classic with an upgraded top. It has the VW EMG P/J pickups and the Fodera custom shop preamp. The toggle switches are currently configured as an active/passive switch and a kill switch. I have been told that the kill switch can be reconfigured as a midrange selector by moving some of the internal jumpers...I don’t know how to do it, but I assume that someone at Fodera can provide the directions (I personally like the kill switch, so I left it that way).

The bass has the following features:

    Born on date - August 9, 2017
    Mahogany body
    Buckeye Burl top
    Indian rosewood fretboard
Mother of pearl dots and tulips
    Classic headstock shape
    Custom shop preamp
    EMG P/J pickups
    Black hardware
Custom shop case (the inside of the case is black and not red like they are now)
Weight is 9.1 pounds on the digital luggage scale

There are no blemishes to speak of and the bass is in really excellent shape. Looking to get $7100 shipped CONUS. I will also provide the insurance appraisal letter that was provided to me by a Fodera that has the bass appraised for a replacement value of $9500.

The only trades I would consider are 4-string Fodera basses with 33” scale.

    Thanks for looking.
