Has Fodera ever built a straight single pick-up P Bass? I have seen PJ, Jazz and variety of other PU's but never a P-Bass. Just curious...Thanks for any insights

Nice bass! I guess I was thinking more "old school" P-bass - single split P pickup and just a volume/tone. Don't think in all my bass buying/searching I have seen one.

Some of the first AJ6 basses had a split P-bass pickup. Although they were six string. I have to say I have never seen a four string split P pickup fodera.

The Wooten Monarch has a P-style neck pickup.

To my knowledge we have never done a straight 4-string P-PUP only, but I am honestly not sure. Vinny's notes on pickups in his journal of all Foderas made were not very thorough. He kept detailed notes about the woods, scale lengths, # of frets, etc., but he always figured that since pickups could easily be changed, why bother taking detailed notes on that?

I'll bet you fifty bucks they'd build one for you if you asked nicely and put down your deposit.
