I've a question for Fodera owners. I've tried some of this great basses (Imperial) and I've noticed that the split between single coil and dual coil is more drastic with Aero pickup than other pickup and also with alder body this feature is more strong (and this make the bass more versatile!).

What's your experience about this thing, do you think it's true that alder body + Aero p.u. create a better split?

Do you think I could reach the same with walnut body + Aero p.u.?

    Thanks a lot :D

I think your difference would be the same regardless of the body wood. The Aeros do in fact have a vast difference when split compared to the duncans. I have owned both and prefer the Aeros over the duncans in every respect.

I also think walnut is a better tone wood than alder so I think the Aero/walnut combo would be quite nice, in fact I have a bass just like that arriving today. ;)
