    Hi-
I have a G&L SB-2 tribute (made in Indonesia) for sale in Premier Bordeaux Red with Pearl Pickguard. This bass comes with a nice padded G&L Deluxe Gig Bag.
    Bass specs:
Pickups: Fullerton-made G&L Magnetic Field Design split coil humbucking pickup in center position, with G&L Magnetic Field single coil in bridge position
    Bodywood: Basswood
Neck Wood: Hard Rock Maple with Rosewood fingerboard
    Neck Radius: 12" (228.6mm)
    Neck Width at Nut: 1 1/2" (38.1mm)
    Tuning Keys: Open-back traditional tuners
Bridge: G&L designed Saddle Lock with nickel plated die-cast saddles
Controls: Passive, One volume control for each pickup, no tone control
Finish: Bordeaux Red Metallic with Pearl pickguard

Bass is in almost new condition. I bought it brand new off Ebay around 8 months ago (I think), and it has not really been used too often, it has served as a backup to my Lakland DJ4 and more recently my Roscoe LG3000.
There are no scuffs, dings, dents, or scratches on the body. The only issue that I found with the bass is that on the bridge where the bars (?) that hold the strings in place and allow for intonation adjustment, there is a slight bit of tarnish present. It could most likely be cleaned very easily by someone that knows what they are doing, unfortunately, I am not one of those people.
    Below are Pics-
This is a stock photo from Ebay, this is a great shot of the bass-

This is the best pic that I could get of the bridge, showing the tarnish-

This bass is often referred to as a P Bass on steroids, and I would certainly agree with that. The reason for the sale is that my new band has a few songs that require the use of a 5 string bass, so I will be ordering one am looking to offset the cost.
For trades, I am looking for specifically an MTD Kingston Artist 5 string, Fender Deluxe 5 string or other 5 stringers. Let me know what you have, I can add cash on my end if applicable.
$350 shipped to the continental US. Bass has been set up and has a decent set of strings on it. Paypal accepted, Bank check/USPS Money order preferred.
If you have any questions, please let me know!

Any interest in a Yamaha 5 string in excellent condition, the RBX375. It is the one with the two Musicman style humbuckers and the two band preamp.

    Hey Scott:

I'd imagine that basswood body is pretty light. Got a weight on it ? Thanks

Hmm, I can't seem to get a reading on the weight on my bathroom scale. I would guess that it is somewhere around 8.5 lbs. I cannot find any information online with an official weight range, but it definitely isn't a heavy bass.
