    F/S: 2008 Marleaux Consat Custom 5 SOLD
This is THE bass that is featured a Marleaux’s new website.
    http://www.marleaux-bass.de/bass_consat_custom.html

The Consat is in mint condition; the burl surface of the face does contain small imperfections … being burl. This bass has rarely been played and never gigged: The Consat has flawless fretwork (set-up low), versatile 3 band EQ (with active and passive being the same volume), even tone across the fret-board, a great B, light weight (~ 9 lbs.), and impeccable build quality!

The Marleaux website has sample tracks which I found to be very true to the live sound I get through my Glockenklang system.

    Consat Custom Spec’s:
    34” scale
    19 mm string spacing
    Delano soap-bar pick-ups
    Marleaux 3 Band EQ
Burl top with a European mahogany body
3 piece maple-neck separated with strips of Wenge.
    6 point bolt-on neck
    Matching headstock
    Ebony fret-board with 24 frets
    Schaller Black Hardware
    Matte finish
    Gator OHSC

The only dealer in the US is current selling this bass for almost 4K, Asking: $2900

    F/S: 2008 Watson Single-Cut 5
    This is Alex Watson’s 1st Single-Cut bass.
    http://luthiersaccessgroup.com/watsonsc5A.html

The Watson’s is in mint condition …. spotless.
The Watson’s has rarely been played and never gigged. The Watson is the most versatile bass I’ve ever played with no exception: a 4 band EQ, Audre Z-mode, active/passive switch, coils selection (dual/single) per pick-up, and passive tone. It has amazing fretwork (set-up low), a great B, light weight (~ 9 lbs.), and amazing quality!

    Watson’s Spec’s:
    34” scale
    19 mm string spacing
    Nordstrand Dual-Coil pick-ups
    Audre 4 Band EQ
Flame Koa top with a European mahogany body
5 piece neck - maple Osage Orange and Koa stringers
    Thru-body neck
    Matching headstock
    Ebony fret-board with 24 frets
    Gloss finish
    Watson gig-bag

New this bass was listed for almost 5K, Asking: $2600 - Price Drop

Pictures are available upon request, will consider trades (19mm string spacing only)

Kudos to Marleaux for providing high quality sound clips of their basses.
BTW Killer bass bump for the Watson.

Yeah, Marleaux has a great website! Having the high quality sound clips with the basses in the mix is ..... ;)

There is also some sound clips of the Marleaux on the Eden site (under lessons), but I believe that the Consat Ariane used for the lessons did not have the Delano pick-ups. I haven't been able to find clips of the Watson (& I'm not set-up at home to make them :meh:). The Watson is deeper and darker with more growl (from the DC's).

Price drop on the Watson $2800!
