Up for sale is my Prized Pavel Jazz Pro SC5.

I got this bass back in December after waiting over a year, it's one of the nicest basses I've ever played. I'm only selling it to pay for another custom I have coming.

Ash body, exhibition spalted Maple top (the nicest top you will ever see), Maple neck, 5A birdseye Maple board with Abalone block inlays. Nordstrand Neo Blade pickups (new, introduced at the 2013 NAMM) and a 3 band Nordstrand preamp with a tone control. 34" scale, weights 8.14 lbs and 19 mm spacing at the bridge.

I can't describe how awesome this bass is, it's a joy to play and sounds amazing.

Asking $3800 shipped, not really in a hurry to sell so the price is firm.

Trades, I'm interested in neck thru Smiths, MTDs, Allevas, Sadowsky or? Looking for 5 stringers mostly, maybe 6 but not 4. Cash is king. International? No problem but you'll have to pay shipping/packing etc.

I own a Imperial Elite and a custom Emperor, I owned 5 Foderas at one point. I can tell you from experience that Pavels are every bit as good as any Fodera (some are better IMHO) but without the price tag.
