For the love of ZZ Top

    In my experience anyways, it always seems when you meet a new musician to jam with, or any musician for that matter, and you are talking about bands and influences that ZZ Top is never mentioned unless someone else mentions them first. I find it kind of funny. I would always say ZZ top is one of my favorites and people will say something like "OH YEAH! I forgot about them." It's like they're the band you are not supposed to talk about.

    ZZ Top has been a huge part of my music career from early on when I got a copy of Tres Hombres. I have played and sung many of their songs from the time they were new until even yesterday at band practice. The other thing is that no matter type of event I play at, their songs always go over very well.
