interesting... I hope the sound is good.
  4. crossroads eh?
that has got to be one of the best songs ever written, especially when cream did it! i hope they are able to pull it off, i wonder how the vocals will sound. I imagine it'll sound like clapton on helium. i dunno i like geddy, but i think he's got a pretty high voice!

Well, that's something I never expected to see. Interesting choices.
I've seen part of their 'Paint it Black' from the Toronto SARS benefit.
Maybe they'll play a few on this tour?

I hope so. I wonder if they felt so wierd about touring w/o a new release that they just decided to crank one out.....

    Looks pretty cool, anyway!
  7. I've got a friend that spent yesterday in Nashville with the band during their rehearsal. He says the covers are about the sickest thing he's heard in a long time. Apparently "Summertime Blues" really gets the treatment.

There will be some of the new album in the shows preceding the album release.

There is also a new stage setup with all the trimmings. Geddy is using the usual stuff but Neal has new drums (black) and Alex has some new guitar that he was trying out. The new show will have plenty of old material to trip on.

Wow!... that cover of Summertime Blues sounds like it could have come right off the first Rush album (I think it's the double tracked vocals that clinch it for me.) Sounds good, can't wait to see them on tour!

That's GREAT! I'm totally impressed -- better than I'd hoped for.
  18. for you Rush fans, do you happen to watch Harvey Birdman: Attorney At Law on cartoon network's adult swim? This past week they developed a terror threat level system (similar to our real one) and as a homage to Rush the highest level threat was Moving Pictures and had a picture of the album cover on it.

    Funny stuff.
