    There have been some great "is it worth it" threads on vintage basses over the years here at Talkbass, and my standard reaction to "collector" basses is NO...it usually isn't worth it. However, the real deals are usually found on refins or slightly moded basses like this one. Just in case anyone was looking for a vintage jazz and didn't wan't to break the bank... :D

    The one I'm really liking is the black refin'd '65 with matching headstock currently on ebarf.
