TRADED First up is my # 1 bass, Roscoe LG-3005. Specs are:

    Exhibition Flame Maple top
    Swamp Ash body
    Cobalt Blue finish
Bartolini 3-band preamp (with the 800/250 push/pull mid control)
    Bartolini/Roscoe pickups
    Maple fingerboard
    Graphite nut
    Black hardware

This is an awesome bass, low action, killer slap sound, mint condition, the best B string in the history of mankind :D I wouldn't trade it but the body is a little too little for me (I'm 6"2, 240 lbs) that being said, I will only trade it for a Roscoe SKB 3005 (no solid colors) with Barts or a Walnut Ken Smith.

TRADED Ken Smith BSR5M "Tiger Maple" with series parallel switches, excellent bass, low action, killer fingerstyle sounds, great harmonics, punches like Bruce Lee :D Will trade it for a dark wood (Walnut or??) Ken Smith or a 5/6 strings Roscoe SKB (again, no solid colors)

I might consider other basses but Roscoes and Ken Smiths are on the top of my list. I'm not in a hurry, I'm very happy with my basses, I just wanted to see what's out there. I also have a USA Tobias Renegade (Traded for a Mesa amp) :hyper: that I can include for the right bass.

Feel free to ask any questions!

Digging the Roscoe, but that Ken Smith is really calling me. Wish I could answer that with something other than a bump.

Here is a walnut Smith 5 with a quilted maple top. It's in perfect condition, playability wise. Cosmetically, there is some "thumb rash" on the bass side of the neck pickup. It doesn't do anything to diminish the impressive piece of work that is this bass, though. Another difference between this and the 5-string you have pictured is that I do not have s/p switches. If you like this instrument enough, and you need those switches, it would be an easy mod for the Smith factory to make for you. For that matter, a dark finish could be had the same way if that's important. You're probably plenty familiar with the sound of this bass, but if you wanna hear mine, you can check out some audio on my website. Bottom line is, i would consider trading this for the Roscoe. **Email me for photos; i can't post 'em here for some reason

This bass is Smokin and the best sounding Roscoe that I've come across...I still regret sending it back.

That tone is yet in my head.

    Bump for a Killer Roscoe....
