For What It's Worth

Discussion in 'Tablature and Notation [BG]' started by mike0033, Mar 25, 2003.

  1. Does anyone happen to know how to play "For What It's Worth" by Buffalo Springfield?

  2. By the way, to avoid any confusion it's the "Stop hey what's that sound? Everybody look what's going down" song.

  3. Here is the guitar tab:

I notice that there is a dearth of tabs for Springfield, unless its a NY song that you can find at Hyperrust.

That's a shame too, they were probably one of the top bands of all time IMHO. A number of their songs like Mr. Soul, In the Hour of Not Quite Rain, Kind Woman, Bluebird, Broken Arrow, Rock and Roll Woman and Expecting To Fly are still vital today after 35 years.

  4. Thanks for your help! But do you know how to play it on the bass?

  5. Well I won't be ungrateful. This is way more than I expected and I apreciate it a ton. I am going to get started on it right away.

  6. Your welcome.

If anyone else would like the correct tab for this tune, just drop me a note.
