Don't let the anti-TAB Fascists get to you. Are you talking about the notes Cliff plays, or the actual sound of his bass? Cliff uses distortion and wah, but when I play it, I just use overdrive. The actual TAB is as follows: EDIT: Dammit! It won't line up properly on here and the file I posted looks like ass! If you have an e-mail address, PM me with it and I'll send it to you.
Cliff uses wah and distortion. If you listen closely, you'll hear the bass for the intro lick, and for the rythm, they over dubbed 'em. First bit: G|19-18-17-16---19h16--------19---------- D|----------------------17-16-------------- A|---------------------------------17-16~- E|----------------------------------------- Guitar bit(irish sounding melody): G|-12-9-11---9-11-12-9-11---9-11-12-9-11----- D|---------12--------------12-------------12--- A|----------------------------------------------- E|----------------------------------------------- repeat about empteen billion times
