Okay, so I'm thinking about refinishing this bass with matching headstock:

    100_1238.

I don't have to but I dinged and cracked the finish here and there while I was routing out that fat neck pup cavity and I regret drilling the two extra holes (which have the small volume and toggle switch closest to the pickups).

I've been debating between these two colors:

    ford-00279-1.

    and

    tumblr_m7evmnlx2J1qzprvyo1_500.

So, which is it? Ford or Chevy?

I had thought about a red of some sort but it's just not my thing, I don't think.

    I build and modify basses
Paint it brownburst and change the hardware to black.

If I was to choose between those two cars I would go for the Mustang, but the Camaros color would look better on your bass.

I feel the opposite. I'm a Chevy guy but I like the mustang's color.

I really hate to do it because I'm definitely not a Chevy person, but I think that color scheme would look better on the bass.

Really though, I second the Mopar motion!

You know, I had thought about going with something like this:

    55590828.

But I'm just not flashy like that. That's why I haven't found a red I like. I'll leave the flashy colors to the gui****s.
