  6. Yeah but some of us are closet guitarists and I am still GASSING for a blond Telecaster to go with my Blond, Telly-like G&L ASAT slab body bass.

I'll occasionally pick one up, but only after a couple beers or on weekends. I can quit any time I want.

Heh, I have a Nash just like that one. Funny, it doesn't sound like that when I play it. Must be defective...

    Thanks for posting!

  11. That was refreshing! :D
  12. Excellent! Great to hear someone play like that instead of a bunch of screaming, distorted, pentatonic, noodling.
  13. Awesome. And his lack of using an actual pick is an added plus! :woot:

That video embodies exactly what a lot of "wanky" bass players are trying to achieve, but always fall short.

Yes but can be play the intro to Sweet Child O Mine? THAT is the true measure of music store shred-tasticness.

Tony Maiden's a legend and has been one for decades now.

Dang. You can go months here without seeing even one video that displays fluid, musical playing, confidently presented in rock-solid time that's an absolute pleasure to listen to. When a video that has all that finally shows up, it features a guitarist!

It's amazing to see that much control without the use of a pick.

His last bit of playing at the end is really pure fire. I am surprised the store didn't burn down. Damn, just nasty!
