Like most of you here, I love to buy and sell musical instruments.

Back in the 90’s, I bought a guitar from a Pawn Shop. The case still contained a strap, some picks, and some original songs from the previous owner.

It appears that the first song was crafted when the writer suspected that his girlfriend was considering straying.

And the second was written after his suspicions were confirmed…enjoy!;)

  4. So hard to write a good love song. Seems like this guy is holding back from telling us how he really feels.

I can definitely see the change in tone from the first to the second.

I think he's written the first verse and then proof-read it, the recap incensing him into the ensuing chorus. Having then got the bit firmly between his teeth he's then continued to the end in the same vein. Either way, a classic. Perhaps someone with a little time/GarageBand could realize his ambitious work by putting some music behind it?

Don't all song lyrics convey the writers state of mind???

I have the originals in plastic sleeves. We lose them in the clutter at my house, and then every so often find them - and get days of laughing from it.

This time I decided to scan them and share with the world - glad you're enjoying them!

I'm imagining a song starting off with the first set of lyrics and then picking up intensity with the second. Something like Puddle of Mudd - She Hates Me.

Too bad he didn't write the one when he had just met her and it was all sunshine and roses. That would make a great trilogy.

At least he scratched out one of the "and die" lyrics from the second one. I guess he wasn't angry enough to leave that one in.
