This past Tuesday, the founder of the wonderful Vodka "Grey Goose" died at the age of 86. Sidney Frank was his name and he was quite the millionaire. I thought I would start a thread about him for two reasons. One being Grey Goose is my favorite type of liquor, and Two being im drinking tonight. So Mr. Sidney Frank, this drink is for you.
(I feel kinda bad because im drinking SoCo lol)

I prefer no vodka over Grey Goose. Belvedere comes close, but falls short for me. In the 20 dollar bracket, Staraya is "poor-man's" Goose.

  3. Boy do I have some stories with Gray Goose..............

Lol. That picture tells me one thing: That guy rocks so hard it's almost unbearable.

I really like how he calls himself the "2 billion dollar man."

I can't see the picture. Anyone care to link it up?

GG is a solid vodka. Sidney will live on through liver damage across the world!

That man is my new hero. If I ever have a stock AP photo, I want it to look just like that, right down to the matching medal on the lapel. :D

I felt the same way when John Jameson died.

I got over it though, as long as I have a bottle of 12 year old around...

I'm in awe of this guy.

He gave his secretary a 23 MILLION DOLLAR bonus.

That's insane, but mighty generous. :smug:

Belvedere is my favorite, but for cheapish vodka try Finlandia. Its $16 a bottle and is pretty damn good vodka. I personally not huge fan of grey goose... i like Belvedere better.

He was a cool guy though...
