I think he's a pretty tasteful player. Anyone know what gear he used in the 70's? I'm guessing, by listening to the two 70's Boston records....Fender Jazz & Sunn?

Actually now I'm listening to Feelin' Satisfied....I like his style very much. A very underrated player indeed. I never hear anyone talk about him. Very nice basslines.

My sentiments exactly (I have mentioned Sheehan on here before).

I own Boston's greatest hits CD. It states that Sholtz played bass on at least part of every Boston album. I can't figure out exactly which songs are Sholtz's, which ones are Sheehan's.

I don't know anything about Sheehan's gear, but if you listen closely, you'll hear him play a low D (below the range of a stndard-tuned four) a few times at the very end of More Than A Feeling.

Busy lines, but seem to fit well. A little repetive, but still good. Fast too.
