I thought he used a standard Aerodyne Jazz?

 

maybe he does sometimes, but his signature has these specs...

I love Frankie sound, but that bass -- jazz body with a P neck -- is exactly the opposite of what a Fender bass should be IMHO. Of course I think Fender's best bass ever is the Deluxe Zone.

 

I kind of like it, I wish it was maple neck with black blocks and binding...

 

I played it and hated it, but that's just me and my opinion.

 

It's what I would love! I'm not really a fan of the Jazz necks. I like the specs on this bass, but I don't like the look of it, I like pickguards on solid colors.
