I Definitely want to buy a Frank Bello fender (don't want anything else) but i cant find anywhere online that will ship to Australia.
Anyone got suggestions on where to look?
I'm not buying one from OZ as they cost about $1500 American.

maybe try bass central or other shops online - email and see if they a can get you one.

the basscentre in melbourne has one for $1900 but they will probably do a better price than that

maybe he does sometimes, but his signature has these specs...

"Now you can “bring the noise” with Fender’s new Frank Bello Bass guitar, a sleek, all-black tone monster that'll easily take whatever you dish out and then laugh about it. A true hybrid, it has a slab-cut alder Jazz Bass body and a modern C-shaped maple Precision Bass neck with matching black headstock. The thunder comes from a Seymour Duncan® Basslines SPB-3 Quarter Pound split-coil Precision Bass pickup and a Samarium Cobalt Noiseless™ Jazz Bass pickup; the only onboard control is for volume!

Other features include Fender/Schaller® Deluxe Lite-Bass straight-shaft tuning machines, a Badass® III bridge, “Fender Bass” headstock decal, Bello caricature on the back of the headstock and his signature on the neck plate"

I love Frankie sound, but that bass -- jazz body with a P neck -- is exactly the opposite of what a Fender bass should be IMHO. Of course I think Fender's best bass ever is the Deluxe Zone.

I kind of like it, I wish it was maple neck with black blocks and binding...

I played it and hated it, but that's just me and my opinion.

It's what I would love! I'm not really a fan of the Jazz necks. I like the specs on this bass, but I don't like the look of it, I like pickguards on solid colors.
