Well... I just can't help myself. This search for effects heaven is really a sickness The Demeter Compulator is actually very good. However, I would like it if the compressor control was more subtle. I had hopes for the Mirage but it did not stack up against the Compulator. So I will try the Sputnik.
I like a subtle compressor as well...and just ordered the BBE Opto-Stomp per the review on Bongo's Compressor website. For the money, it sounds like the Opto-Stomp is hard to beat (If you shop around you can find it for around $79.
