i just defret my bass and i going to use flatwounds and play slap what should i do to finsh the bass so far i tung oil i know its not the great.i like play a lot of slap fretless and i dont want to mess my bass up
  2. I de-fretted my Honher PBass copy a few months back and finished the fingerboard with Polyurethane, It gave me a good, hard surface to play roundwounds. If you do this, remember thin layers are better. Let it dry after every coat and sand it smooth before the next. About 6 coat worked for me.
