Free Gear for Kids: Los Angeles

    Hey my L.A. TalkBass brothers and sisters: I just put up a pay-it-forward kinda Craigslist ad offering free gear to people so their kids can get a rehearsal space started. There's an okay parts Precision and assorted other stuff (guitar amp, drums, cables, monitor, etc.) up for grabs. I expect I'll get a lot of hits so I thought I'd call the listing to your attention as it would be cool if the gear went to a fellow local TB'er.

    **UPDATE! A pair of teenaged brothers came by to collect everything. They were super polite and stoked. Glad everything is going to a good new home with nice kids!

    Kudo ! This is a nice thing you're doing.

    Say, should "kit" be "gear" in "I've got a fair bit of kit..." or did I misread it? It's a bit early here on the right coast.
