I have found that I like a certain amount of fret buzz on my basses. Clean on sustained notes and ripping buzz on slides and digging in.

    What is your opinion?

I would tell you my thoughts but it would probably get deleted.... again.

I can dial it in our out depending on the sound I want in a song/part. I like it a lot in solo-like stuff.

i have my basses set up at the point where buzz doesnt happen unless i want it to, but sometimes i want it to, so i play a little harder.

oh, and dont be too surprised if someone moves this to setup. or miscelaneous.

I love a clean sound, and I've always been taught that fretbuzz = bad technique, so no, I don't use it personally. I do, however, like the clicky sound of a slap mute.
