Fret Lines on the Squier VM fretless

    Does anyone know if there is anyway to have someone remove the fret lines?

    I have considered this, along with using said Sharpie to color the pickguard on my fretted Jazz. For some reason, my band's guitarist looked at me funny.

    Does anyone know if coating the fingerboard with black epoxy would do the trick?

    Maybe painting black first and then using epoxy would do the trick
