I used to have a 1988 Carvin LB75 bass and I really liked the neck, the fret size in particular. I'm in the process of ordering a custom bass now and wish I knew what size fret wire was used on that bass. I suspect it was 6130, but not sure.

I've googled around and searched on carvinmuseum.com to no avail?

    Any have this info?

    Thanks!

Try the Carvin (or Kiesel) forum.

I've registered there to ask the question but you can't post without having your acct activated by a mod. So, been waiting for that. Figured I'd get a jump start and ask here since I can't ask there yet.

Ah...searched on CarvinMuseum a bit more and found:
The Carvin Museum - 1988 LB75 Bass Guitar

Looks like they were true Jumbo frets. I do remember them being big.

Also, emailed Carvin/Kiessel and they confirmed the frets were the 6100 Jumbos.
