i’ve heard geezer butler used to do that, where he put his thumb on the neck nearest to his pickup and plucked in-front of it. i seem to do it sometimes myself. does anyone else do it sometimes too? it’s seems to get the most “punch” and breaks away from the twangy sound of the bridge.

and also, yes i AM a devout finger-style kind of dude. but i’m not a snob. i don’t even know how to play with a pick!! :bassist: drummer turned bassist problems i guess.
