fretless bass

    is the made in japan fretless fender really that much better than the made in mexico?

    9 times out of 10 its a higher quality bass- the MIM's are very incosistent. Do a Searcha dn you will find LOTS of information on this- its been discussed extensively. :)

  6. The made in Japan Fender or just about anyother brand for that matter is 1st class stuff (now a days). The MIM stuff I've played was pretty rough but it is priced accordingly. The MIM basses are great as a 1st instrument. They play in tune, stay in tune, and can be setup to play decent. The MIJ and MIA basses are just made to a higher standard. jmho
