That Elrick single cut 5 looks oddly familiar... Did I play it once?

Oh that's right... I just oogled and drooled over it for a few minutes:p

  4. Brad, that is unbelievable. I knew you had those, but it really didn't sink in until I see them all together. How the heck can you pick a bass to play.

It would be like a dog with two bowls of food the same distance away. I guess he chooses one of them though.

I am ordering my first fretless bass, it feels so small compared to your 6 killer fretless basses. Oh well, the one I get should be all I need. I imagine I will post something soon. ;)

    Killer man!!!

    Brad -

I know you don't need that Elrick NJS hollowbody, so I'll take care of it for ya...

  6. i think it's time to change your avatar to the brubaker. the zon is clearly no longer the apple of your eye.

Thanks, Geoff. The funny thing is, it really didn't sink in until I brought the last one home and realized I now have six. The real problem is they're all keepers.

I don't have any method to picking a pair of basses for a gig. Last Saturday it was the two Brubakers (the new fretless is sweet), the gig before that I took an F Bass Studio and the Elrick E-Volution 4. The four is amazing, way to much fun to play.

You might think that but you'd be wrong. My Zon is still one of the baddest fretlesses I've ever laid hands on. I don't have a bass that does what the Zon does, better.

Man, that's a major gaggle of great basses, bro! Congrats. That Elrick single cut is especially cool, imo.

While I don't have anywhere near as nice a stable as you, I often have the same problem...

ME: "I think I'll take the P and the MusicMaster tonight..."

DAUGHTER: "But then the others will be sad that they don't get to play"

    :)

And while the initial picture is jaw-droppingly beautiful, I find the filename hilarious... 'fretli'... I love it!

IIRC "fretli" is the plural in Latin for "bad intonation".
