Does anyone make a fretless neck for a five string soundgear, a ready to be fitted one that can just bolt into place and then have the tuners mounted on? In ebony. I was going to get mine defretted but it wa quuite costly and meant I would have a relatively soft rosewood fretboard. Any ideas?

I don't believe that there is a huge market for Ibanez replacement parts, so I'm sure that the usual sources such as Warmoth, Mighty Mite, Moses, etc wouldn't have a replacement neck.

    You've got 4 options IMHO.

Contact Warmoth, and see how much they will custom make a replacement for.

Look for a fretless just like your fretted, and try to trade for it or buy it.

Go to your local Ibanez dealer and see if they can order you a fretless neck.

Or, pay a luthier to defret the neck for you and then finish it with epoxy or polyester so that it won't wear as fast.
