Has any company manufactured a fretless simulator stompbox? If so, where can it be found?

a Korg AX1B has a preset called "defret." It sounds nothing like a fretless unless you play a fretless through it.

  3. The Zoom BFX-708 has a preset for fretless as well and again it doesn't sound much like a fretless. I am not aware of any single effect that does this.

  4. i don't know of any single effect fretless makers, but i know just about every multieffect box out there has one, and all they really seem to do is give your bass a slow attack, similar to a fretless. if your wanted a single effect to do that, i'd recommend a volume pedal and give yourself a slow attack. you'll get the same effect.
    good luck
