Do you know of any companies that Sell quality, Frettless Six strings? Or is this the kind of thing you would have a Luthier do?

  2. When i visited Bass Central i played an excellent quality Pedulla fretless 6, i think it was a thunderbass or something like that. Very good quality and sound!

What is your budget? Not many shops stock fretless sixes, but most of the good makers build them. Roscoe, Pedulla, Zon, etc.

There was a Dean fretless 6 just like my 5 at a store near me but I think it got sold... If you need a good budget fretless, those are good bang for the buck if you see one somewhere.

There's a hot looking Marleaux on sleazebay right now - doesn't get much better than that. I think the seller is in the UK though...

  13. I would suggest

Sei bass or Wal. Both made in the UK and will be quite expensive but they make fantastic basses especially fretless.

    Regards and happy hunting

Dean makes basses like this. They're really nice for the price, very high quality instruments. I have a Dean 5 string fretless and have played some of their 6 string basses at a local shop.

Rondo imports two different fretless 6 string Brice models from Korea for under $300. www.rondomusic.com I have a "V2" model and I like it quite a bit.
  15. peavey still makes fretless 6-string cirrus basses. you'd probably have to contact a dealer, though, because i doubt anybody stocks one.

  16. Dean makes affordable guitars and basses. They sell these basses in my local guitarshop and the quality is rather good considering what you pay for them. They have basses in all sorts and sizes. Including fretless 6-strings.
