  1. Hello all!

Which strings do use on your fretless?

  3. Thanks.
See that Rotosound has it share of users. Also
use these strings, but have had problems with some
sets, where especially E-string has sounded a bit wah-wha.

TI JF's and D'Addario Chromes. Both are excellent strings and it comes down to setup preference. The TIJF's are a bit soft for me and I prefer the Chromes as they offer a bit more tension. I run a very low action tough and if it were a bit higher the TIJF's would be fine. Like I mentioned, both are excellent choices.
  6. Thanks all.
Have a set of Elixir Nanowebs waiting. How will they work on low action?

Only if you're interested in rounds.

I'm using LaBella black nylon Deep Talkin' Bass strings on my Brice 6 string and Fender nylon tapewounds on my 4 string fretless. Both are very nice!

I was just pointing him in a direction to look. I never suggested that is his only choice. But people do talk a lot about tape wounds and the like in that thread.

Fender 7150L nickel rounds do it for me :hyper:
